The Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa

The Westin La Paloma is a beautiful property in a convenient Tucson location. The staff was very friendly, parking was easy, and the pools were great. Our kids especially enjoyed the waterslide. Unfortunately, the air-conditioning was a major downside. The unit in our room was so loud that we could barely hear the television when it was running. More importantly, it made it extremely difficult to get a good night’s sleep. We were told that when the rooms were remodeled, more powerful air-conditioning units were installed, but they are noticeably louder. It’s unfortunate because this is otherwise a beautiful resort with many positive features. However, if getting a quiet, restful night’s sleep is important to you, this may not be the right place to stay.

5 stars all the way! The property is spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. The staff works incredibly hard and provides outstanding service throughout your stay. The rooms are clean, the atmosphere is relaxing, and everything is conveniently laid out with minimal walking. I also appreciated the accessible automatic doors and the convenient parking. My only minor complaint is that the drinks are very expensive. That said, the excellent service makes it easier to overlook. One tip for future guests: if you order a double, you’ll be charged exactly double the price of a single drink. Unlike many other places that charge about 1.5x for a double, this venue charges 2x. Just something to keep in mind when ordering. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again.

My husband and I went here for our 30th anniversary. The gentleman named John at the front desk really hooked us up with an amazing room. There were no king size rooms left so he upgraded us at no charge to a studio. It was absolutely beautiful there were some other perks that he provided as well. In addition to that we did get chocolate covered strawberries delivered to our room with a handwritten note and hand-drawn wedding rings on the envelope. We had room service at least two times during our stay. And the food was impeccable. This was an amazing stay for us we will be back next year. Thank you John

Had an incredible stay here. The service truly stood out—every staff member I interacted with went above and beyond, making the experience feel welcoming and seamless from start to finish. The pools were beautiful, and the grounds were just as impressive—perfect for relaxing and soaking in the surroundings. I usually like to try a new place each time I visit Tucson, but this is one I’d absolutely return to. Also worth calling out: the food at Contigo Latin Kitchen was outstanding and definitely a highlight of the trip.
